The book i read is burned. I thought it was a very good book it made me kinds connect to the story. The writer Ellen Hopkins, is a very good book writer but this book was one of the best books i have read by her. When i read this book it made me feel like i was apart of the story, and when the people in the story got hurt or personalities changed it either made me cry or feel happy. but i really enjoyed this book.

Something Blue, written by Emily Griffin, takes place in present day New York. The story is based around four friends, Darcy, Dex, Rachel and Ethan. It's a romantic drama genre, and keeps you wondering what will happen next. The main character Darcy Rhone, was once engaged, but after many events her and her fiance call off the engagement. One of the reasons the engagement was called off, happen to be because Darcy's ex-fiance is in love with her best friend, Rachel. Darcy also had an affair and is now pregnant with the "other man's" child. Darcy is a very self centered girl who always wants it her way. She has always been in competition with everyone(including her best friend, Rachel). She moves to London to live with her friend Ethan, and hoping to change the way things have been turning out for her. Many different twists occur throughout the book. The book plays out how Darcy's life goes on, her pregnancy, her friendship with Rachel, if she will ever find true love, and where her life is going to take her from here. Something Blue is the sequel to Something Borrowed and I highly recommend these two books.

A Bend in the Road, by Nicholas Sparks, is a romantic novel that will leave you shocked. This story is unlike most of his novels because not only is it romantic, but it is also intense. Taking place in New Bern, North Carolina, everything was normal for Miles Ryan. One day however his wife, Missy, went running and was hit by a car. This incident was a hit and run, and no one knew who had killed his wife. Miles was left alone with his young son Jonah, and took this case to heart since he was a deputy sheriff. About two years later a young teacher moves back to town, Sarah Andrews. Sarah had lived in the big city, and after having a divorce she moved back to New Bern to start over. Sarah then had Jonah in class and notices he is struggling with his school work. This is where it all began. Sarah and Miles then meet and fall in love. Throughout this novel you will hear the story told by Miles, Sarah, and the person who hit Missy. However it is not revealed who this mystery person is. Later in the story you will find that the mystery person knows Sarah. This realization leaves Sarah and Miles’s relationship in trouble. Can Miles still be with Sarah after what he knows? You’ll have to read it for yourself and find out.

The Kill Order, by James Dashner, is the prequel to the Maze Runner trilogy. The plot of The Kill Order spoils the plot of the trilogy so I'll make this short. Something has happened to world and it's everyman for himself. A group of friends are trying to survive from something that has caused this post-catastrophic world. If you've read Ever lost or The Hunger Games, you'll love this adventure!

Faithful is a book written by Kelly Elliot. The main characters in this book were Josh and Heather. The setting is in Austin, Texas and on a ranch. This story all started when Josh got in a car accident. Josh and Heather had been together for what felt like forever and then all of a sudden, he lost all his memory of them ever being together. For Heather, it was so heartbreaking, but she was going to do her best to fight through and stay with him because she loved him so much. For Josh, he was so confused. He didn’t know what was going on or who he was dating. All he knew, was that he felt something for Heather, that he had never felt for anyone ever before. The story of Josh and Heather is an eventful one. I thought this book was so good! The author was very descriptive with everything that happened about the accident and afterwards. There is two other books in the series that I would recommend reading first. The first book is Wanted and the second book is Saved. They are all great books and I have read each of them more than once.

The Unwritten Rule was written by Elizabeth Scott. The main characters are Sarah, Ryan, and Brianna (Sarahs best friend). So Sarah is madly in love with Ryan but there's one problem. He is Brianna's (her best friend's) boyfriend. Every girl knows to unwritten rule. You can't like your best friend's boyfriend. What Brianna doesn't know is one night after a party Sarah and Ryan "got together". Now knowing that Sarah's true love has feelings for her she has to choose between her friendship or her love life. I really enjoyed this book!! It keeps you hooked the whole time!

I recently finished "The Choice" by Nicholas Sparks. I love all of the movies based on Sparks' novels, so I figured I'd try one of the books. I loved it! "The Choice" is about Travis, a bachelor in his 30's. He's always falls for all of the easy girls, and there's never been a girl he couldn't get until he met his neighbor, Gabby. But,Gabby is happily involved in a long term relationship with her boyfriend, Kevin. Complications throughout the story have Travis asking himself, "How far should someone go in the name of love?". This book is a little bit of an emotional roller-coaster, but SO worth it! :)

I finished the book "The Hobbit" by J. R. R. Tolkien. The book was really good and had a lot of great scenes in it. The first movie that came out goes really well with the first 8 chapters of this book or so and then the rest just goes perfectly. The main character Bilbo who usually lives a careful life but goes on an adventure where he saves his groups lives multiple times. He even finds a dragon at the end and has to use his brain to stay alive against it. It's an adventure book and since the second movie is coming out soon it'd be good to read early.

The book I read was The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. This is a historical fiction book based on a true story. It is about a Afghan boy named Amir. The book goes through his life from his childhood to his adulthood. Many events happen to him and he must live with them for the rest of life. Even when he comes to America, his memories will draw him back to his homeland.

I just finished "Safe Haven". In the novel, Erin is constantly hiding from her husband who is an abusive alcoholic detective. Somehow, she finds herself in the small and cozy town of Southport, North Carolina. She keeps to herself, living in fear of her husband finding her. Months later, she opens up her heart to a man named Alex. But will her husband eventually find her? "Safe Haven" keeps you wanting to read more! I was so excited to find out what happened, that I constantly found myself skipping ahead on accident, and having to go back and reread! Read the book! SO much better than the movie!

The Sweet Far Thing is a novel written by Libba Bray. The books setting was based in the 1890’s in London, England. The main characters in this book were Gemma Doyle and Felicity Worthington. This is the third book in the Gemma Doyle Trilogy. The first book is The Great and Terrible Beauty and the second book is Rebel Angels. I strongly recommend reading all three. The series is very exciting and interesting. There is even a litte bit of romance in it. This book starts out that Gemma is back at Spence Academy, her private boarding school in England. Gemma’s mother was murdered back when they lived in India and that is what lead her to discover the realms. The realms are what you could call the “afterlife”. Felicity, Ann, and Gemma used to have a friend named Pippa, but she loved the realms so much that she killed herself so she could go and stay there forever. The three girls go and visit Pippa all the time and they see a change in the realms. They used to be beautiful and enticing, but now they are turning evil and mysterious. Gemma has the ability to fix it all with her magic. All she has to do is bind it with the creatures there, but she waits to long. To find out more, read the books! There is just far too much information to share! I hope you like them as much as I did.

I recently finished the book Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. It is the third book in the Hunger Games trilogy. I loved the series as a whole, so if you haven't read it, I strongly recommend the series. Although this book is not as well written as the first two, I think everyone should finish the series. It didn't have the ending I was expecting, but it ties up the loose ends left from the other two books.

The book Divergent was written by Veronica Roth. The main characters are Beatrice Prior (Tris) and Four (Tobias). Beatrice has one brother Caleb. The setting of Divergent is Chicago in the future. When you turn 16 in this society, you take an aptitude test to find out what you want to do for the rest of your life. You have to choose 1 of 5 categories, Amity, Abnegation, Erudite, Dauntless and Candor. There is only one problem, Beatrice isn’t fit for any of those. She is divergent. She grew up in abnegation and when choosing day came, she had to go with dauntless. If the dauntless leaders find out about that she is divergent then she will be killed. The Erudite and Abnegation are hate each other and the Erudite are plotting for war. Read Divergent to find out the ending! It is a great book and I really recommend you reading it.

I recently finished the book "The Fault in our Stars" by John Green. First off, I would recommend this book to everyone to read! It's about a 16 year old girl ,Hazel, with thyroid cancer and lung problems. She struggles to realize why her life is worth living, because she knows that she is just going to die and worries about the affect it will have on her family. Everything changes the day that she meets the attractive Augustus Waters. in her support group. Gus makes her feel beautiful and makes her realize that her life means something. He also inspires Hazel to leave a legacy. It is then that Hazel realizes the good she can do for others. This book is a reminder that those with disabilities and illnesses are no different than you and me! It also promotes the fact that we need to live each day like its our last, and not take anything for granted.

Redeeming Love, by Francine Rivers, takes place in California in 1850. It is about a young man named Hosea, who has to trust in God when looking for his wife. God reveals who his wife should be, but it is nothing like he expected, as she is a woman with a hard heart, who was sold into prostitution as a child. The book is the struggle of the life of the unlikely pair to learn to love each other and God. Throughout the book you see Angle's heart change and her open up more and more. It gets you very emotionally involved and I know it made an impact on my life. I strongly recommend this book! I never wanted it to end!

“The Blue Bedspread” written by Raj Kamal Jha, is about a man( whose name is never given) who got a phone call one night from the police. They told him that his sister, who he hasn’t seen in years, has died giving birth to a child. The child had survived and they asked him to take the child until morning, when her new adoptive parents could come get her. The man brings the child into his home and begins writing her notes and stories of her mothers life, and the life of their family. These stories uncovers the darkest side of his past, and the love for his sister that he never saw again.

An Abundance of Katherines by John Green is about Colin Singleton’s journey to a town called Gunshot. Colin will spend a part of his summer working on the theorem and learning to cope with being alone. He will gain the knowledge that being alone is okay. But will he end up alone? He meets a girl, but not a Katherine. Can Colin learn that he does not need a girl named Katherine to make him happy? Can Colin finish this thing called “the theorem”? What is the theorem even about? He will meet a bunch of new people and learn how it is to be a friend to many people at a time, which he has not had practice before. I liked the book because it was interesting, I think that because I keep wanting to read more and more everyday, all of the time also. I think that people should read An Abundance of Katherines because I enjoyed reading it because it was really good and I want as many people to read it as possible because I think that they will enjoy it as much as I did. I would love to see more people reading An Abundance of Katherines.
